The Pesentheinerhof

Welcome to the Landhotel am See, where tradition meets modernity. The house is idyllically located in Pesenthein, a small and quiet district of Millstatt am See. The hotel consists of the old main building and an apartment house, which is 100 m away and is family-run.

Most of the lovingly renovated rooms and apartments have a balcony or terrace, where you can enjoy the view of the Carinthian mountains, which are reflected in the water of Lake Millstatt, during breakfast or in the evening. In addition, you have a barbecue area, a lawn, a children's playground and sports facilities.

The house is a wonderful starting point for hikes at different altitudes. In front of the front door you can reach the Slow-Trail Zwergsee, where you can take a deep breath in the forest on the northern slope of the lake. But the Millstätter Alpe can also be hiked from here without a car. For cyclists there is the cycle path around the lake and for ambitious mountain bikers there are countless mountain bike trails, often with a view of the lake. In 2 minutes you can walk to the Pesenthein lido, which has a textile and nudist area. Wellness friends will find wonderful conditions in the Millstatt bathhouse or in Bad Kleinkirchheim, 10 minutes away. In winter you have absolute peace and quiet and the choice of about 10 completely different ski areas, all of which are about 30 minutes away by car.

After active relaxation, a walk along the lakeshore to the main town of Millstatt, where you can try the varied gastronomy in addition to various art galleries, the Benedictine monastery and beautiful villas from the Wilhelminian era.
